Dark sky Scotland
The Dark Sky Discovery project is based on some aspects of the highly successful Dark Sky Scotland project, which took family-friendly, community-based astronomy events all over Scotland during 2007 and early 2008. These combined workshops for teachers and outdoor educators with school activities, evening stargazing, indoor activities and planetarium shows, daytime family activities and presentations. Each of the new Dark Sky Partnerships will run similar activities in 2009, and as each Partnership gets up and running, you can link to their details and events using the map.
